Posted this in a Facebook Sasquatch group and it was like dropping a nuclear bomb. I was shocked by the response. Everything from calling M.K. Davis a liar to nobody being able to get their heads around M.K. besmirching Bob Gimlin's name. Definitely an exercise in watching the mythos people have built up around our Sasquatch friends get challenged with the resulting irrational response. Don't question people's "sacred cows."
ReplyDeleteYes, I have discovered some same reactions. "Heroes" are only human, after all. And some have feet of clay. It's funny how some by virtue of just being there become icons and others with much greater contributions are shunned.
